Local business is the cornerstone of Medicine Hat, that’s why we’re asking you to Amplify Medicine Hat by nominating local businesses we can highlight and support.
Grit City Distillery is run by a husband and wife team and, in 2017, they began the process of making the dream of Grit City – Medicine Hat’s FIRST distillery – real. They officially opened Fall of 2018. Their mission statement is “to go above and beyond in every way, and treat our customers with the high amount of respect they deserve” and it truly shows in the reason this business was nominated.
The nominator describes Grit City as helping to create “a feeling of community with their support and efforts. They are always thinking of ways to help and we are lucky to have them in Medicine Hat.” They were also a huge help during the “great hand sanitizer shortage” last year.
Grit City Distillery is located at 690 South Railway Street Southeast.
