Road resurfacing projects continue

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Crews will begin paving operations at three locations in the coming days.

The city says work will begin on 10 Avenue SW between Gershaw Drive and 17 Street on June 27. The road will be closed during paving and traffic will be detoured to Ninth Avenue SW.

Work will take place on 12 Street NW between Brier Park Road and Sanderson Avenue from June 28-July 6.

Work is scheduled for Southview Drive SE between Higdon Avenue and Thompson Crescent on July 7.

All schedules are dependent on the weather.

Crews will also be doing maintenance on street lights in and around Police Point Park from June 28 to July 2. Residents and visitors are asked to allow space for crews to work safely in the area.

There will be minimal interruptions in operations and traffic flow.
