Intersection on Allowance Avenue to be temporarily closed

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The replacement of water and sanitary sewer infrastructure in the Flats will require the intersection at Fifth Street SE and Allowance Avenue to be closed for about a month.

The closure will start on June 25.

Once completed, the project will improve water distribution and sewer services, along with stormwater infrastructure. There will also be geometric upgrades made to the intersection at Allowance Avenue SE to improve vehicle and pedestrian safety.

People are reminded to follow all detours and signage related to the project.
