More first dose vaccine walk-in clinics announced

A walk-in clinic for people to receive their first dose of mRNA COVID-19 vaccine will be open in Medicine Hat on Thursday and Friday.

The clinic will be at Higdon Hall from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

A clinic is also taking place at Kinsmen Hall in Brooks from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day until further notice.

Other southern Alberta clinics:

  • Taber: 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. June 17
  • Oyen: 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. June 17
  • Fort Macleod: 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. June 19
  • Pincher Creek: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. June 21, 22

All Albertans born in 2009 or earlier are encouraged to be vaccinated as soon as possible. People are asked to bring their Alberta Health Care card if you have one and photo ID. You will be required to wear a face mask and use hand sanitizer when visiting the site for your immunization.

Second doses are not available at these walk-in clinics.
