City opening Strathcona Pool on Friday

MEDICINE HAT, AB –Strathcona Pool will be open for you to cool off this weekend.

Public swim times are being offered starting Friday in 75-minute blocks with a maximum of 10 people allowed per swim time. Registration is required and you can book up to three days in advance.

Cancellations must be done within 24 hours for a full refund.

Admission is $2 for children, $3 for youth, senior and post-secondary students and $4 for adults.

Change rooms are available on the way in, but not the way out.

The high temperature is forecast to be above 30 C on Friday, and remain in the mid-20s into next week.

Swimming lessons will also be offered soon. Lessons are now viewable, registrations open on June 8 at 9 a.m.
