Medicine Hat Catholic Board of Education unveils new logo

MEDICINE HAT – The Medicine Hat Catholic Board of Education is celebrating World Catholic Education Day with a new logo.

The old one has been around for decades and featured a cross, bible and candle. The school board’s new logo puts the emphasis on faith, families and staff.

Superintendent Dwayne Zarichny says the new logo was developed to better represent what the school board is about. He also says the Medicine Hat Catholic Board of Education believes in educating the whole child.

“Not only meeting their academic needs, but it also means addressing their social, emotional and spiritual needs,” Zarichny said. “We believe the best way that this is accomplished, is by having our staff, parents and students and our faith working together to accomplish this.”
