An Ontario anti-masker who brought his “Freedom Convoy” rally to Medicine Hat last weekend has been arrested in Thunder Bay.

According to TBNewsWatch.com, Chris Sky, also known as Chris Saccoccia, was arrested Tuesday night after speaking to a crowd of more than 100 people at a park in Thunder Bay.

The 37-year-old faces charges of breach of undertaking and he was also charged under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act.

Organizers of the event were charged under the provinces Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act.

Sky spoke to a crowd of close to 100 people on Saturday outside of a Medicine Hat restaurant that has been vocal about defying provincial orders banning indoor dining.

On Monday, AHS asked attendees at the rally to get tested for COVID-19 after an individual who had been at the rally tested positive.

Sky’s convoy has also visited Maple Creek, Sask, Regina and Winnipeg since leaving Medicine Hat.

No charges have been laid to date in relation to the Medicine Hat event.
