Locals react to B.C. travel restrictions
MEDICINE HAT, AB – With the recent announcement by B.C. Premier John Horgan that the province is restricting all non-essential travel, signs have been put up along the Alberta-B.C. boundary telling travellers not to enter unless it is essential.
Alberta Premier Jason Kenney says he respects B.C.’s decision but won’t be implementing similar measures and says this is a strong advisory to Albertans.
Here in Medicine Hat, one woman CHAT News spoke with believes limiting inter-provincial travel could have a serious impact on individuals but won’t have much of an impact on curbing case numbers.
