One-time funding available for not-for-profits
MEDICINE HAT, AB – New grant funding is available for not-for-profit organizations in Medicine Hat through Family & Community Support Services.
The one-time grants will provide six months of funding from July 1 to Dec. 31.
“We’re excited to share this opportunity with the community,” said Shona Dickie, manager of community supports. “The available funding will ultimately help children and families right here in our community, helping them develop independence and become more resistant to crisis.”
The funding for preventative social services programs comes from a partnership between the provincial government and the City of Medicine Hat.
