Catholic school division replacing golf tournament with 50/50 raffle

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Medicine Hat Catholic Schools’ Education Foundation will host a 50/50 raffle this year with as much as $5,000 being awarded to the winner.

Tickets are on sale now for the draw on June 11. Tickets are $10 for one, $20 for four, $50 for 20 or $100 for 100. The raffle will have a maximum value of $10,000, split between the winner and the foundation.

The raffle was launched on April 9 and the total pot is already at almost $1,900. A minimum prize of $2,000 will be awarded.

The raffle is open until June 8 and will support the Medicine Hat Catholic Board of Education through training, grants and scholarships.
