RCMP: Fatal collision near Gleichen on Tuesday evening

GLEICHEN, AB – One person is dead following a collision between two semi-tractor trailers on Tuesday evening.

The collision happened on Highway 901 between Highways 1 and 24 at about 7:10 p.m.

The driver of the other vehicle was treated by EMS.

Gleichen RCMP say they will not release details about the deceased at this time.
