Two firefighters brave the cold for the annual Rooftop Campout

Firefighters smash rooftop campout donation goal

MEDICINE HAT, AB — The Medicine Hat Fire Department has wrapped up the annual Rooftop Campout for muscular dystrophy and is now sharing the results.

“It went really, really well,” firefighter Dylan Gustafson, said. “We were able to smash our goals and we raised a total of $12367.75.”

Two campers braved the cold for two days and two nights. Donations were accepted in person at Fire Station 2 and online.

The department wanted to raise $10,000 and have surpassed that goal.
