Province seeking Alberta Community Justice Awards nominations

The province is encouraging Albertans to think of groups or individuals who have made outstanding contributions to community safety.

Nominations are open for the Alberta Community Justice Awards, which celebrate those who have shown exceptional leadership, innovation and dedication to working and volunteering in community justice.

Those eligible for nomination include Albertans and organizations involved with crime prevention initiatives, youth justice committees, victim services, restorative justice programs and other community-based justice efforts.

Nominations are open until April 16 at noon.

There are five categories for nomination:
