COVID-19 update: Province confirms 301 active cases

EDMONTON,AB- There are 301 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed across the province on Sunday bringing the total number of active cases to 4,584.

A total of 7503 tests were completed over a 24 hour period. The provincial positivity rate is 4 per cent.

The province also confirmed three new deaths.

There are 29 new cases of the variant bringing the total number of variant cases to 430. None are in the South Zone.

In Medicine Hat, there are 18 active cases, 519 recoveries, and 17 deaths.

Cypress County has two active cases, 143 recoveries, and no deaths.

Newell County and the County of Forty Mile have zero cases of COVID-19.

The city of Brooks has one active case.

Lethbridge County has 18 active cases, 520 recoveries, and seven deaths.

The City of Lethbridge has 194 active cases, 1897 recoveries, and 20 deaths.
