New website and number for lab appointments in Medicine Hat, Brooks

MEDICINE HAT, AB – There is a new appointment booking system and phone number for community laboratory services in Medicine Hat and Brooks.

People can now book appointments at APLappointments.ca, or by calling 1-833-572-0577. The previous booking number is no longer in service but will direct patients to the new number.

The new Alberta Precision Labs website and number brings Medicine Hat and Brooks under the lab booking system being used across rural Alberta.

At the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital, 7-8 a.m. Monday to Friday is reserved for appointments by physician referral only. From 8 a.m.-4 p.m. appointments are preferred for same-day ambulatory clinic patients and required for all others.

At the Carry Drive site, appointments are preferred and walk-in service is available Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 8:15-a.m.-4 p.m.

At the Brooks site appointments are preferred and walk-in service is available Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Residents are reminded to cancel their lab appointment if they are unable to attend.
