A Hatter That Matters: Paul Hemsing

Feb 19, 2021 | 11:50 PM

Paul Hemsing was nominated by Dawn Barr

Paul owns Salon Purity and started an Angel program for those in his industry. People could donate products and services in a silent auction and Hempsing then distributed funds to many to pay their rent, get groceries or whatever they needed to get through this shutdown.

He also started a petition to reopen the beauty industry that got the attention of the provincial government.

Throughout this pandemic, there have been Hatters on the front lines.

Health-care workers, first responders, grocery store employees, truckers and others.

We want to recognize their efforts.
