Individual at Webster Niblock school tested positive for virus

MEDICINE HAT — School may be on the Christmas break, but COVID 19 isn’t taking a holiday.

Alberta Health services has identified a positive case in an individual at Webster Niblock school in Medicine Hat.

As a result, some students and staff are self isolating.

Medicine Hat had 78 active cases in the Monday report from Alberta Health services.

There were 10 in Cypress County, 1 in the County of 40 Mile and 14 in the County of Newell.

Brooks has 42 active infections.

Our South Zone continues to see decreasing cases, with 461 active infections, the lowest in the province.

Alberta added 12 hundred and 40 cases in the Monday report, which covered the period ending on Sunday.
