Help available 24/7 over the holidays

Essential government services are available at any time, day or night, during the holiday season to help anyone who needs support.

β€œIt’s important Albertans know help is always available. You are not alone. During the holidays, resources that support the health, safety and security of Albertans will continue to be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week,” says Rajan Sawhney, minister of community and social services, in a release.

Government offices, however, will be closed from Dec. 24 to Jan. 1, reopening on Jan. 4.

For anyone facing family violence, bullying or abuse, the following resources are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in more than 170 languages:

Help is also available 24-7 for anyone dealing with mental health challenges.
