CFB Suffield reports COVID cases

RALSTON, AB – Two cases of COVID-19 are being reported from the British Army unit located at CFB Suffield.

Two UK personnel from BATUS have been confirmed to have the virus, according to a post on the CFB Suffield & BATUS Medical Centre Facebook page, one case being found on Wednesday with the other reported yesterday.

One case is located at the BATUS camp located within CFB Suffield with the other in Ralston.

Several people close contacts have been told to isolate due to being in direct contact.

The Facebook page states there are no confirmed cases in the UK military population in either Medicine Hat or Redcliff.
