SASKATOON – Party leaders in Saskatchewan are campaigning today in Saskatoon, where the NDP leader plans to cast an advanced ballot for Monday’s election.

Elections Saskatchewan says there will be five days of advance voting.

The agency says it has also approved more than 61,000 applications for people to vote by mail.

Meili is to cast his vote in the afternoon, following a campaign stop in Prince Albert to highlight the ways his party believes the city has been let down by the Saskatchewan Party government.

Saskatchewan Party Leader Scott Moe is also to kick-off the start of advance voting while in the constituency of Saskatoon Riversdale.

He is to be joined by candidate Marv Friesen, who is vying for the seat which the party lost by less than 300 votes in the 2016 provincial election.
