MHC: Positive COVID-19 case in person associated with college

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Medicine Hat College is informing the college community that someone associated with the institution has tested positive for COVID-19.

In an email from Campus Announcements, the college says that the individual is following all public health directives and protocols, and contact tracing is currently being conducted by Alberta Health Services.

The email also notes the college has confirmed that the individual has not been on campus within the past two weeks. Updates will be provided if further actions are warranted.

Medicine Hat College has been notified that an individual associated with the institution has tested positive for COVID-19. The individual is following all public health directives and protocols, and contact tracing is currently being conducted by Alberta Health Services (AHS). The college has confirmed that the individual has not been on campus within the past two weeks. Updates will be provided if further actions are warranted.
