Charges laid after stabbing on Tuesday night

MEDICINE HAT, AB – A 20-year-old female is in custody after a stabbing late on Tuesday night.

Medicine Hat police say the incident occurred at a residence on Carswell Road at about 11:50 p.m. on Sept. 29

After investigation, the woman was arrested and remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing. She is charged with aggravated assault, robbery, break and enter and breach of probation.

The male victim, 28, was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
