Vehicle fire on Highway 887 leads to traffic delay Wednesday

SEVEN PERSONS AB — Alberta 5-1-1 was reporting a burnt vehicle that was blocking the southbound lane of highway 887 south of Seven Persons.

Redcliff RCMP say the vehicle caught fire while it was travelling on the 887 near township road 94 yesterday morning.

The owner had hit a deer about a month ago but when it started smoking yesterday morning the driver stopped and the vehicle went up in flames.
