City woman facing arson charge in relation to Crestwood fire

MEDICINE HAT, AB – City police have charged a woman in relation to a suspicious Crestwood fire last week.

City fire crews were called out to douse a blaze at 6 p.m. last Wednesday at a four-plex on 22nd Avenue with Medicine Hat police called out to investigate after the arson was suspected to be the cause.

There were no injuries reported to anyone in the building with the occupant of the suite beleived fire not home at the time of the incident.

Medicine Hatter Natalie Denholm, 37, is currently facing one count of arson in relation to the incident.
