Strathcona boat launch improvements, work starts next week

MEDICINE HAT, AB – A set of concreate stairs will be constructed at the Strathcona boat launch to improve access for kayakers and paddle boarders.
Work crews will begin working on the structure on Monday with city officials saying the effort is part of larger plan to enhance recreational opportunities along the South Saskatchewan River.
The boat launch will remain open during construction which is expected to be completed by the end of the season.
