Major detour for access to Riverside neighbourhood starts next week

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Work on the CPR bridge in Medicine Hat combined with the city’s revamp of the Finlay Bridge will see access to the Riverside neighbourhood severely impacted for two days next week.
Parkview Drive will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday between 2 p.m. and midnight between Altawana Avenue and Altawana Drive with detours routing drivers along 12th Street north to gain access to Riverside from the city centre.
The trail running next to Parkview Drive will be also closed during the CPR bridge maintenance work.
Emergency crews will continue to have access to the affected areas.
