Crescent Heights stabbing sends one to the hospital

MEDICINE HAT, AB – City police are investigating an early morning stabbing in Crescent Heights.

Police were called to a residential home on the 1400 Block of Fifth Avenue N.E. just before 2:30 a.m. Friday morning after receiving a report of a man being stabbed.

Police say the home was the scene of a small gathering when the incident occurred.

The man was transported to hospital and is currently being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the public aren’t at risk as the stabbing appears to be an isolated incident and the major crime section is investigating the incident.
