Bassano RCMP seek help finding missing woman with dementia

UPDATE: Donna has been found alive and is on her way to the hospital.

RCMP say Donna Sevcik was located late this morning in a field approximately 3 kms from her residence. She was transported via STARS to a Calgary hospital with minor injuries.

BASSANO, AB – RCMP in Bassano are asking the public for help to locate a missing woman with dementia.

Donna Sevcik was last seen on Saturday, Aug. 8 at her residence near Range Road 194 and Township Road 255 outside Hussar, Alta., about 200 kilometres northwest of Medicine Hat.

Donna has medical issues that require attention, as well as dementia.

She is described as Caucasian, five-foot-four and about 150 pounds. She has brown/greyish short hair, green eyes and wears glasses. She was last seen wearing a blue sleeveless blouse with a white collar.

Anyone who has been in contact or seen Donna is asked to call 911.
