Majority of parents, students OK with return to school, suggests public school board survey
MEDICINE HAT, AB – The public school board’s parent and student survey conducted last month on a return to in-person classes reveals a majority are comfortable going back to school this fall.
In the survey conducted in the beginning in June and released Friday afternoon, 61 per cent of parents and 60 per cent of students say they are comfortable with a return to school in five weeks.
It also confirms what many parents have been saying anecdotally about online learning – that while they appreciated teachers’ efforts, it was difficult.
