Damage estimated at over 100 thousand dollars

Damage in excess of $100K in hit and run spree

MEDICINE HAT — A suspected drunk driver is responsible for damage in excess of 100 thousand dollars, after a series of hit and run crashes in Southridge overnight.

Police started getting calls around 2 this morning from Storrs Crescent S.E. where people said a white pick up truck had struck two vehicles before leaving the scene.

Patrols found the 21 year old driver in Ross Glen, after hearing a tire explode.

3 vehicles were damaged along with some other property.

The driver has been charged with impaired driving, dangerous driving and failing to remain at the scene of a collision.

He’s got a date in court at the end of October.
