One new COVID-19 case in Medicine Hat over the weekend
The province totalled 130 new cases of COVID-19 in the past three days, 15 of which are in the South Zone. Medicine Hat recorded one of the new cases.
Medicine Hat now stands at 49 total cases — 38 of those are recovered, 10 active and there has been one death in the city.
Across the South Zone, there are 1,373 total cases. Of those, 84 are active, 1,278 recovered and there have been 11 deaths in the zone. There are three people in hospital in the zone.
Province-wide, there are 607 active cases and 7,627 recovered cases. There are 57 Albertans in hospital, six of which are in ICU. The provincial death toll remains at 155.
