Full traffic signal at Gehring Road to be activated this week

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The lights at Gehring Road and South Ridge Drive will become a full traffic signal on Wednesday.
Currently, the lights are a pedestrian-activated half signal. The existing stop sign for those exiting the tourist information centre area will be removed and motorists will follow the directions of the new signal.
The timing of the traffic signals along South Ridge Drive will be adjusted to improve the traffic flow.
The city asks motorists to travel with caution through the area as the signals are activated and the timing is adjusted.
