Finally the city is opening things up!

Medicine Hat has a recycling pickup program but those huge black bins are still picked up weekly. Why? Many cities have changed to blue bin pickup one week, black bin following week. Those who need an extra black bin pay accordingly.

Is there a reason why Medicine Hat hasn’t changed to biweekly black bin pickup? Like usual Medicine Hat is behind making this change.

What great local businesses MH has everything from beer, distillery, lifestyle stores, clothing stores, restaurants, butcheries, bakeries, and coffee shops. There are so many great places, instead of big box store. They need our support to survive.

If people are self distancing and practicing hand washing and cleanliness their is no need to wear a mask. They are definitely hard to breath through and especially if wearing eye glasses. Don’t be telling others what you think they should be doing. Mind your own business.

I was very disappointed in a local restaurant on Wednesday evening. Some of their staff didn’t think it was necessary to wear their face masks properly. My son who lives in Calgary tested positive for Covid over a month ago and was very ill – I need to remind everyone to take this very seriously. It’s for everyone’s safety.
