Motor Vehicle collision at Trans Canada Hwy and 16 Street SW

Update: The MHPS says the highway has reopened following a two-vehicle collision Saturday afternoon at approximately 4:38 p.m.

A 30-year-old male from Medicine Hat has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

Police say minor injuries were sustained in the crash which caused roughly $12,000 in damage.

MEDICINE HAT, AB- Motorists are being asked to avoid the Trans Canada Hwy and 16 Street SW.

According to the MHPS ‘s Facebook Page the highway is closed in both directions due to a motor vehicle collision.

There are reports of possible injuries.
