Consultations aim to improve child care in the province
The Alberta government is seeking feedback on child care in the province.
An online survey for parents, early childhood educators and operators will be launched June 15. The survey will be at alberta.ca and will be sent to parent through their child care centre. Virtual table talk sessions will take place among child care operators and industry associations.
The consultation will be led by Grande Prairie MLA Tracy Allard.
“I know how important child care is for families and how challenging it can be to find the right option. I firmly believe the best way to improve any organization or system is to hear directly from the people involved,” said Allard. “I am honoured to lead this consultation process and collect feedback from Albertans who rely on and work in the child care sector.”
