MEDICINE HAT – Police have closed down the 900 Block of Ross Street and are converging on a residential home.
City police first reported the incident shortly after noon on Thursday with officers in tactical gear seen at the scene.
The MHPS armoured vehicle is also on scene with a least one loud bang and screaming being reported at approximately 1 p.m.
Police are asking the public to stay out of the area and those already in the area to shelter in place.
