Advice line helps Albertans with disabilities

May 19, 2020 | 4:35 PM

A new phone line will offer extra support to Albertans over 18 years old who live with disabilities in the community.

The Rehabilitation Advice Line will connect callers with allied health clinicians who can help them access services close to where they live and provide other information. That can include activities and exercises that help with physical concerns, strategies that manage the day-to-day concerns, and services and organizations open for in-person or virtual visits.

The line, available toll-free at 1-833-379-0563, will operate daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
