Update: Missing 12 year old boy in Medicine Hat found

UPDATE 9:50 a.m. May 6th

A 12 year old boy who left his family home in Crestwood yesterday morning, has been found safe and returned to his family.

City police Inspector Brent Secondiak says a tip from the public led them to the boy earlier this morning.

Secondiak thanked the public for their help, noting they received several responses to the story on social media.

He also expressed appreciation for the assistance of South East Alberta Search and Rescue for their help in locating the youth.

MEDICINE HAT — The Medicine Hat Police service is asking for help in finding a 12 year old boy.

Brodie Legare left his family home in Crestwood around 11:30 yesterday morning.

He was riding a silver, red and black Dynasty Mountain bike.

Brodie is 5 foot 9 inches tall, and was wearing a Metal Mulisha hoodie, black pants and Nike shoes, with a black and grey helmet.

South East Alberta Search and Rescue has been called to assist in the search for Brodie Legare.
