MEDICINE HAT, AB – Starting Monday, city crews will be out sweeping away the last signs of winter – the sand, dirt and debris that has built up on residential streets over the past few months.
Hatters are asked to look for No Parking signs on streets, which will be out on street corners at least 12 hours before sweeping. Residents are also asked to remove all driveway curb ramps and other materials from the streets before the sweeping starts.
For the residential zone map, sweeping progress and other information about the program visit the city’s website.
Street sweeping has been taking place in high traffic areas of the city since March 29.
