Premier thanks Saskatchewan for COVID-19 efforts ahead of phased approach to normality
PRINCE ALBERT, SK – Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe delivered a strong message of thanks to the public Wednesday evening recounting how far the province had come in combatting the COVID-19 pandemic.
And, while he said he was optimistic the time would come next month to start looking at a phased approach towards some normality, he warned many restrictions would remain in place.
In a 10-minute address broadcast live across the province, including on the various Jim Pattison Broadcast Group radio stations, a sometimes inspirational and emotional Moe spoke of how isolation had worked.
“We have flattened the curve,” he said, and added “we learned how to pull together by staying apart.”
