Late night drag race stopped by police

MEDICINE HAT — A Medicine Hat Police patrol unit caught two drivers speeding on a section of Parkview Drive N.E.

It was around 11 o’clock when the member witnessed two vehicles, racing side by side, at speeds in excess of 128 kilometers an hour.

The legal limit for that section of road is 70 kilometers an hour.

Two males, aged 16 and 17 are charged under the Traffic Safety Act and will be in court at a later date.
