First case of COVID-19 in Manitoba

WINNIPEG – Manitoba has announced its first confirmed case of COVID-19.

Health Minister Cameron Friesen says a woman who recently travelled to the Philippines has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

He says she is isolated at home.

More than 100 cases have been reported in Canada.
