5 first period goals bury Cubs; game 7 in Cochrane Wednesday

MEDICINE HAT — The Cochrane Generals have forced a 7th and deciding game in their second round Heritage Junior B Hockey League playoff series with Medicine Hat.

The Generals skated to a 6-2 win in game six at the Kinplex last night.

That sets up the 7th and deciding game in Cochrane tomorrow night.

The Generals roared out to a 5-0 first period lead and never looked back.

Cooper Hilworth scored both goals for the Cubs.
