Mar 2, 2020 | 3:19 PM

MEDICINE HAT, AB — The City of Medicine Hat is warning residents about reported high water levels in creeks in the city.

According to a post on the city’s social media channels, high water levels have been reported in both the Seven Persons Creek and Ross Creek. The city says residents should use caution if using the trails by Scholten Hill and near the Saamis Archaeological site, and to avoid any areas where flooding has occurred.

The city’s parks and recreation department is also reminding residents that ice is thin right now due to the weather, and residents should stay off of neighbourhood ponds.
