Twenty-two rallies at hospitals and health centres across the province are currently scheduled to take place with Medicine Hat’s scheduled for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. outside of the regional hospital.
According to a release from the UNA, the rallies will be, “to raise concerns about the Alberta government’s decision to to lay off hundreds of Nurses across Alberta and the impact it will have on safe patient care.”
In southern Alberta, rallies will be taking place in Lethbridge and Calgary in addition to the Hat’s.
