UPDATED-Environment Canada issues fog advisory for Medicine Hat and surrounding counties

Medicine Hat, AB – Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for Medicine Hat, Cypress County and parts of the County of 40-Mile, County of Newell and Special Area 2 with near zero visibility.

Dense fog is expected stick around through Monday and freezing drizzle is expected in areas near the Saskatchewan border.

The forecast currently is predicting winds to push the fog out by Monday morning.

Environment Canada says weather situations may cause hazardous travel conditions with drivers advised to slow down, be prepared to stop and watch for tail lights.
