Mounties warn of dangerous conditions on Saskatchewan highways

Swift Current, SK – Swift Current RCMP are warning drivers of dangerous conditions on highways in the southwest corner of the province.

In a release issued Saturday evening, RCMP say travel is not recommended due to ice and snow covered highways.

The Saskatchewan government`s Highway Hotline is reporting icy or slippery conditions on many of the highways in the southwestern portion of the province, including the Trans-Canada Highway.

Fog is also prevalent in the region.
