Province hosting telephone town halls for Budget 2020
The Province is hosting two telephone town halls to get public input for Budget 2020.
The two town hall conference calls will give Albertans an opportunity to ask questions, share their thoughts and ideas, and voice their concerns about the upcoming Provincial Budget.
“Telephone town halls are an opportunity for us to speak directly to Albertans and listen to their priorities. In the lead-up to Budget 2019, we were able to connect with almost 35,000 people across Alberta. Their feedback helped inform the budget and I am looking forward to hearing from Albertans again,” says Travis Toews, the President of the Treasury Board, Minister of Finance and MLA for Grande Prairie Wapiti, in a statement.
Two telephone town halls will be held, in order to reach as many Albertans as possible. The first will go on Monday, Jan. 27, and serve everyone living north of Red Deer. The second will serve everyone in and south of Red Deer on Tuesday, Jan. 28. Both calls will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
