Jan 10, 2020 | 11:42 AM

Medicine Hat, AB–The Provincial Government is inviting Albertans to pay tribute to the victims of Flight PS752 crash in Iran.

Messages of sympathy and support can be posted through an online condolence book. In a statement Premier Jason Kenney said;

Our province is united in the grief and compassion we feel for the families and friends of the Albertans lost in the crash. We’re making this online condolence page available so the people of our province can come together in love and support as we begin the long, difficult journey of healing.”

63 Canadians were killed, many were from Edmonton. At least 2 of the victims in the crash were from Calgary including one high school student.

The online condolence page is available for two weeks at https://www.alberta.ca/messages-of-condolence-for-victims-of-the-iran-plane-crash.cfm.

The condolences will be shared with the Iranian Heritage Society of Edmonton to ensure this community knows that Albertans are coming together to support them through this incredibly difficult time.
