LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes have announced their latest talent acquisition.

They are giving the Red Deer Revels a fourth-round pick in the 2021 WHL Bantam Draft in exchange for overage forward Brett Davis.

The 20-year-old was originally drafted by the Hurricanes in the fourth round of the 2014 draft.

In his prior stint with Lethbridge, Davis appeared in 85 regular-season games, collecting 21 points (12g-9a) and 21 penalty minutes.

Between time with the Canes, Rebels, and the Kootenay ICE, he has been part of 289 regular-season games in the WHL.

Davis was picked by the Dallas Stars in the sixth round of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.

With the addition of Davis, the Hurricanes have placed overage forward D-Jay Jerome on WHL waivers since each team can only have a maximum of three overage players at one time.
